CRPF Constable (Technical,Tradesmen and Pioneer) Syllabus 2026

CRPF has released the notification for Constable (Technician, Tradesman & Pioneer) Recruitment 2026 for a total of 9,175 vacancies. Candidates preparing for this exam must go through the exam pattern and complete subject-wise syllabus in detail to build an effective preparation strategy.

CRPF Tradesman 2026 Selection Process,

  • Stage 1: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Qualifying
  • Stage 2: Physical Standard Test (PST) – Qualifying
  • Stage 3: Computer Based Test (CBT) – Merit Based
  • Stage 4: Trade Test / Skill Test – Qualifying
  • Stage 5: Document Verification (DV)
  • Stage 6: Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
  • Stage 7: Review Medical Examination (RME) (If Required)
  • Final Selection: Based on CBT Marks only, subject to qualifying PET, PST, Trade Test, Document Verification and Medical Examination.

Exam Pattern 2026,

  • The exam will conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT)
  • Total 100 objective type questions for 100 marks
  • Duration: 2 hours (120 minutes)
  • Questions will be set in both Hindi and English
  • Negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer
  • Exam standard: Matriculation (Class 10) level
  • Calculators and other electronic gadgets are not allowed inside the exam hall.

2. Give extra attention to Mathematics and Reasoning.
3. Study GK and Current Affairs every day.
4. Practice Hindi/English grammar and vocabulary regularly.
5. Solve Previous Year Questions daily.
6. Start with 2–3 mock tests per week and gradually increase them.
7. Maintain a notebook for mistakes and revise it regularly.
8. Aim for high accuracy along with good speed.
9. Prepare for PET/PST from the beginning instead of waiting for the written exam.
10. In the final weeks, focus mainly on Mock Tests, PYQs and Revision.
