4. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA, AGE RELAXATION & APPLICATION FEE
A. Educational Qualification (Crucial Cut-Off Date: 30 September 2026):
- For Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police & CAPFs (GD): Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.
- For Sub-Inspector (Fire) in CISF: Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) OR 3-year Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Automobile, Chemical, Mining, Aeronautical, or Telecommunication Engineering.
- Appearing Candidates: Candidates appearing in final year degree exam are eligible provided pass result is declared on/before 30 Sept 2026.
- Mandatory Driving License (Male DP SI Only): Male candidates for Delhi Police SI MUST possess a valid LMV Driving License (Motorcycle & Car) on PE&MT; date. Candidates without LMV DL are eligible for CAPFs SI posts only.
B. Age Limit & Category-Wise Upper Age Relaxation (Crucial Date: 01 August 2026):
Standard Age Limit for General SI posts is 20 to 25 Years as on 01.08.2026 (Born between 02.08.2001 and 01.08.2006). For SI (Fire) in CISF, age limit is 18 to 30 Years (Born between 02.08.1996 to 01.08.2008).

7. MEDICAL STANDARDS & STAGE-WISE SELECTION PROCESS
A. Detailed Medical Examination (DME) & Eye Sight Standards:
- Visual Acuity: Minimum Near Vision must be N6 (better eye) and N9 (worse eye). Minimum Distant Vision must be 6/6 (better eye) and 6/9 (worse eye) without glasses or surgical correction. High color vision is mandatory.
- Physical Defects: Candidates must be free from knock knees, flat foot, varicose veins, squint in eyes, or bodily infirmity.
- Training Obstacle Course: Selected candidates must pass 7 obstacle events during training (Tarzan Swing, Monkey Crawl, Vertical Rope, etc.).
- Tattoo Policy: Religious tattoos/names allowed on left forearm/dorsum of hand if size is less than 1/4th of the limb.
